She began her career as a Civil Engineer in her hometown of Belfast. After graduating with a Masters in Civil Engineering she worked on a number of housing developments, industrial parks and highway projects in Belfast and Dublin gaining great technical expertise before moving to Canada in 2007.
Rachel became a professional engineer in 2008 working for a large engineering consulting firm in Kamloops. Her main focus was highway projects including large multi interchange projects before becoming a design engineer for the City of Kamloops focusing on municipal engineering.
Rachel gained a passion for Project Management after managing a number of residential projects for her family. She moved to the Capital Projects division to manage municipal projects for the City of Kamloops and became a professional project manager in 2017.
Following her passion for these residential projects, Rachel returned to university to complete the Architectural Technician course and has worked on a number of residential projects including new construction and renovations.
Rachel decided to take the next step and founded CCI, a client focused consultancy providing a unique tailored service offering Project Management, Architectural and Residential services and Civil Engineering
